Protogate Announces Co-sponsorship of Science Fair Competitor

- Protogate to Co-sponsor Science Fair Trip -

SAN DIEGO, California, 18 April, 2002 -- Protogate Corporation is proud to announce today that it is a co-sponsor of Noel Lopez, one of the winners of the Greater San Diego Science and Engineering Fair. Out of more than 10,000 projects this year in all of the San Diego and Imperial County schools, only two were selected to be sent to the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in May; Noel's project was one of those two.

Noel's project is titled "Original Electric Motor Designs"; for it he built several different electric motors of his own design and measured their efficiencies.

Noel is a 9th-grade student at Mount Everest Academy in San Diego. He will be taking his project to Louisville, Kentucky to represent San Diego in the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) to be held there 11-18 May, 2002. At the ISEF, Noel will join more than 1,200 of the brightest science students from more than 40 countries. Protogate is co-sponsoring Noel's trip to the ISEF, along with Intel.
